Multilingual communication for workplaces and inbound tours
MIRAI Creation Company Co., Ltd. KOTOHASHI overview
The problem

Do not let language differences stop the operation

At work and on tour, one person sends the message while the people receiving it speak several languages. Connecting them by hand turns every announcement, confirmation, and repeated question into extra work.

Repeat everything

The same message, rewritten for each person and each language.

No proof it landed

Sending a message is not the same as knowing it was understood.

One person carries it

Every question collects around the bilingual worker or the guide.

A member of foreign staff alone with her phone, working out what a Japanese message says
KOTOHASHI
What KOTOHASHI is

Send, understand, and respond in one LINE conversation

The sender keeps writing Japanese. The recipient keeps reading their own language. KOTOHASHI connects the translation, confirmation, answers, and hand-off to a person.

KOTOHASHI
Getting started

We handle the setup.
Your team only needs LINE.

No technical knowledge and no configuration screens for your team. Tell us about the operation and the people, and we prepare it until it is ready to use.

Step 1
Tell us what you need

Who will use it, their languages, the messages you send, and the questions you hear.

Step 2
Leave every setting to us

We configure languages, approved information, recipients, and urgent hand-offs.

Step 3
Start in LINE

Add the account from our instructions and begin. There is no new workflow to learn.

KOTOHASHI
Products

One system, built for two kinds of operation

KOTOHASHI WORKS

For workplaces with foreign staff

In factories and restaurants: announcements, everyday questions, urgent hand-offs, and support records.

KOTOHASHI TOURS

For tours in Japan

Experts' explanations, itinerary changes, roll call, and urgent contact between guides and guests.

The audience changes. The promise does not: write once in Japanese, deliver in their language, and keep the confirmation.

Keep work moving with foreign staff

For factories and restaurants, adapted to each operation and bringing everyday communication with foreign staff into one place.

One announcement

The manager writes Japanese once. Every worker receives it in their own language.

Answers from company information

Important issues reach a person

Injury, illness, and employment concerns go to the manager.

Confirmation and support records

Messages, confirmations, and consultations become dated records.

A guest asks in LINE and gets the master's or craftsperson's explanation in their own language. The guide's Japanese announcements reach everyone the same way, and the guide sees who pressed "Understood".

A guide and international guests review a tour message near Tokyo Station

Explanations in their language

Answers come from the knowledge pack: the experts' explanations, collected for each tour.

Changes reach everyone, confirmed

A changed meeting point reaches each guest in their language; see who has not pressed "Understood".

Only what you registered

Explanations, meeting times and what to bring come only from registered information.

Urgent issues reach the guide

Someone lost, a theft, or a missing passport goes straight to the guide.

AI translates and searches human-written information. People decide what to say, and important matters return to a person.
KOTOHASHI
The role of AI

AI does not decide. It carries a person's words.

KOTOHASHI does not let AI make policy or speak for the company or guide. AI is used to find what a person wrote and restate it in the recipient's language.

What AI helps with

Translation, finding registered information, and restating the same meaning clearly.

What people decide

Policy, approved answers, exceptions, and what should be communicated.

What automatically reaches a person

Important and urgent subjects such as injury, illness, or someone missing.

What it never does on its own

Invent an answer, make a decision for you, or promise something that was never registered.

KOTOHASHI
The shared value

Delivered. Understood. Recorded.

Delivered

Not through a new app, but through LINE, in the recipient's language.

Understood

The Japanese original stays attached, numbers and times are checked, and a person steps in when needed.

Recorded

The message, confirmation, question, and answer remain with a date and time.

Kotohashi Works

What it does

Kotohashi Works is a service that lets a Japanese manager and foreign staff understand each other on the LINE they already use, and keeps a dated record of what was said.

One message, every language

The manager writes once in Japanese. Each worker reads it in their own language, with the Japanese still attached underneath.

Workers ask for themselves

They ask any time and get answers your company has already written, so the manager is not interrupted for the ordinary things.

Urgent things reach a person

Injury, pain or feeling unwell goes straight to the manager. That decision is made by plain code, not by AI.

The record keeps itself

Every message and confirmation is dated. Each quarter a sheet for each worker arrives, ready for your 定期面談.

KOTOHASHI

Accuracy

How the translation is checked

It only restates what a person wrote

It never invents an answer, makes a decision, or speaks for your company.

Numbers come from the original

Times, dates and quantities are read out of the Japanese and printed underneath.

Days of the week are checked

If a translation moves Tuesday to Monday, it is rejected instead of sent.

A failure is never silence

If it cannot translate safely, staff get the Japanese. They are never left with nothing.

KOTOHASHI
Limits

What it does not do

  • It is not a certified translator. Not for contracts or legal documents.
  • It does not replace the interviews you are required to hold in person.
  • It cannot tell you somebody is fine. It can only make it easier for them to say that they are not.
  • It does not read your other LINE groups or chats. It only sees what is sent to it.

A guide and international guests review a tour message near Tokyo Station

Your experts'
explanations,
in every guest's
language.

Tour messages, information and confirmations, all in LINE.
For operators running tours in Japan
MIRAI Creation Company Co., Ltd.
The problem

Interpreting gets only part of it across.
And nobody knows if messages arrived.

Explanations

Masters and craftspeople speak only Japanese. Even when the guide interprets on the spot, only part of it gets through.

"What was that?" The guide cannot answer every guest one by one.

Messages

A change of time or meeting point, and no way to know every guest got it.

A guest who gets separated cannot reach the guide quickly.

When the explanation does not land, the experience feels thin. When messages go astray, departures run late and guests get left behind.
KOTOHASHI
KOTOHASHI TOURS

One LINE account, two jobs

1 Explanations

Guests ask what they want to know, in their own language

The master's or craftsperson's explanation comes back in each guest's language.

2 Messages

The guide writes once, in Japanese

Every guest gets it in their own language, and the guide sees who pressed "Understood". Lost-guest messages go straight to the guide.

The LINE Official Account is in your company's name. We do the setup. Guests who already use LINE install nothing new.
KOTOHASHI
Knowledge pack

A knowledge pack is your experts' explanations,
collected for each tour

Example: a ninja tour's knowledge pack
  • The nine hand signs and what each one means
  • The history of the ninja
  • Etiquette in the dojo
  • Costumes and what to bring
  • Common questions
We take your scripts and materials
↓
We build the knowledge pack
↓
You check it before it goes live

It grows with every departure (unanswered questions are added)

Peace of mind

It only answers with what you registered

Answers come only from the knowledge pack

The AI never answers from its own knowledge. Anything it cannot answer goes to the guide, translated into Japanese.

Food, religion, safety and money are never guessed

A question like "Does this contain pork?" only gets a registered answer, or goes to the guide.

Every answer carries the Japanese original

Japanese staff can see exactly what each guest was told.

How the translation is checked

Translation only restates the Japanese

When translating, it adds nothing and makes no judgements of its own.

Times come from the original

Meeting times, dates and headcounts are read out of the Japanese original and printed under the translation. If 16:00 became 18:00, that one line shows it.

Weekdays are checked

If a translation turns Tuesday into Monday, it is rejected rather than sent.

Failure is never silence

When it cannot translate safely, the Japanese original is delivered as it stands. Nothing ever simply fails to arrive.

It cannot reach mainland China

Mainland China uses WeChat, not LINE (1.43 billion monthly users at 31 March 2026, Tencent's own figure). A group from the mainland cannot be reached this way, and it is the second largest inbound market.

What it does not do

  • It does not handle bookings or payments. Only messages and confirmation.
  • It does not track anyone's location. It sees only the words a guest chose to send.
  • It cannot reach a group from mainland China, because LINE is not used there.
  • It is not a certified translator. Do not use it for contracts or terms of service.
  • It does not replace a guide. It helps the guide.
